An ethos

Screens have their place, but they’re rarely the plan. We go to the museum. We make slime on the lānai. We name the trees at the zoo. And when the family is on the mainland, the house is ready: flowers cut, fridge stocked, salt in the air.

Private Nannying

Full-time, part-time, or travel. Engaged, intentional days: outings, learning, real meals, real rest.

Life Coordination

For mainland families: I open the house, stock it, air it, and have it ready the moment you land.

Up to 60

Event Planning

Birthday lūʻau, sunset gatherings, small family weddings. Vendors vetted, kids occupied.

Recurring

Household Management

The steady hand between visits: vendors, calendar, errands, the things that quietly keep a home humming.

A day, roughly

What we’d actually do.

No two days are the same, but the rhythm holds. Outside early, hands busy by midday, books and quiet before the sun sets.

Sunrise
A walk to Diamond Head. Lattes & little legs.
Morning
Breakfast on the lānai, reading aloud, no devices.
Mid-morning
Bishop Museum: Hawaiian Hall, then the planetarium.
Noon
Picnic at Kapiʻolani; we count the green parrots.
Quiet hour
Watercolors on the floor. Naps as needed.
Afternoon
Slime kitchen. Goggles required. Always.
Golden hour
Honolulu Zoo: last hour, fewer crowds, more giraffes.
Sunset
Real dinner. Bath. A book. Lights out by 7:45.
The adventure roster

We don’t just
fill time, we build it.

A rotating roster of outings, projects, and quiet rituals, chosen for the child in front of me, not the algorithm. Homeschool families especially welcome.

What families say

Quiet words
kindly meant.

Carolynn is the only person I would entrust with my child’s wellbeing all day long. She runs our house the way I wish I could: our girls ask for her by name.
K.M. · Kāhala & San Francisco
Carolynn opened the Lānaʻi house the week before we flew in: fresh flowers in every room, the boat fueled, the pantry done properly. We arrived and just exhaled.

My son's 6th birthday was at Hanauma Bay. Forty kids. Tide pools, scavenger hunt, shave ice. Not one tear. I still don't know how.
